The Bronze Bomber is looking to return to winning ways following a shock defeat to Joseph Parker in December.

Wilder's points defeat to the New Zealander wrecked plans for a long-awaited fight with Anthony Joshua.

Zhang, who boasts 21 KO wins from his 26 victories, also lost on points against Parker when they faced off in March.

This blockbuster fight will be part of the blockbuster Matchroom vs. Queensberry 5 vs 5 event which also features Daniel Dubois.

Wilder vs Zhang: What has been said?

Wilder is still eager to face Joshua later this year and believes a return to form against Zhang will help fans get back on the hype train.

He told BBC Sport: "People are always going to want to see that fight no matter what.

"I put it in the high 90s [percentage chance of the fight happening].

"I always said it before, it'll be a shame if we never fought.

"It only takes that one fight, that one night. June 1st is going to be that night, that one fight.
