Sunday April 21st horse racing tips

MUSSELBURGH

  • 4.15: Teej A 5/1 each-way (1.5pts)
  • 5.45: Individualism 4/1 (1pt)

STRATFORD

  • 2.15: Easy Peasy (1.5pts)

WINCANTON

  • 1.57: Irish Hill (1.5pts)

Teej A

One of the few Sunday Premier Racedays, with Musselburgh starting the proceedings.

Teej A also has an entry into Saturday's Nottingham evening meeting but looks set to make her debut in this under Clifford Lee where she's given plenty of weight for trainer Karl Burke, who often does very well with his two-year-old horses and prepping them to be ready.

Individualism

Tipped this colt a couple of times as a two-year-old and though frustratingly been second twice, and third once he's still shown signs of promise.

The colt by Too Darn Hot trained by Charlie Johnston has an overall rating of 78 despite only placing, but his latest fifth of 13 behind Zoum Zoum still offers plenty of encouragement with that horse a big favourite on Saturday's card at Newbury.

May find his way as a three-year-old and if he's developed over the winter as he has hinted towards before, he could be well-weighted.

Easy Peasy

Easy Peasy comes back into the action just a couple of weeks after her second win over hurdles at Ludlow last time out making her two from two.

She was always doing enough to win that but did at times look like she could have thrown it away when jumping to the left.

But she's still learning at only five-years-old and despite wandering a touch she still won by over three lengths to the improving Twyford's Diamond.

She was carrying 7lb extra than that rival and this Walk In The Park mare should continue to improve for the former Champion trainer, Nicky Henderson, who does very well with his hurdlers.

Greyval might actually be her biggest challenge if she returns to form dropping in class having previously been a winner in listed company, back in January 2023.

Irish Hill

Irish Hill has always been around this level and has picked up a little for trainer Paul Nicholls and under jockey Harry Cobden, coming a very decent third to Boobawn last time out at Kempton.

That followed some rather tame efforts this season but could have found some of his old form that saw him jump up the ratings to 134, where he's now just 125.
